We’re conditioned to think that our lives revolve around great moments. But great moments often catch us unaware; beautifully wrapped in what others may consider a small one.
“PEOPLE MAY NOT REMEMBER EXACTLY WHAT YOU DID, OR WHAT YOU SAID, BUT THEY WILL ALWAYS REMEMBER HOW YOU MADE THEM FEEL.
I will not die an unlived life.
I will not live in fear
of falling or catching fire.
I choose to inhabit my days,
to allow my living to open me,
to make me less afraid,
to loosen my heart
until it becomes a wing,
a torch, a promise.
I choose to risk my significance;
to live so that which came to me as seed
goes to the next as blossom
and that which came to me as blossom,
goes on as fruit.
This year, I promise myself that I’ll be good to my mind, body and soul. One of the things I’ve set out to do is to drink at least 6 glasses of water a day, even though the required amount is 8-10 glasses. I don’t drink enough water even though I read that it is one of the most essential nutrients for the body.
I hope you all can get on this tip with me too :)
